COACHING AND INNOVATION

Innovative ideas are the fruit of knowledge people have of an organization, the expertise, knowledge of environment, networking .... Alfons Cornella speaks, in his book "The Alchemy of Innovation", specifically, knowledge hybridization as the source of the best innovations.
Anyway, what is plain and clear is that the source, the wellspring from which flows all, is the people. In many organizations are created groups generating ideas using sometimes creativity techniques to foster the emergence of breakthrough ideas.
Great, but go a little further. If it is ultimately to get the most out of a group, why not use the latest techniques?, Why not use a coach to allow the group to get the most of himself and become a mana innovative ideas ?
Coaching is the art of questioning. Questions for what? To get the full potential of each and every one of us carry within us. It is a "philosophy" geared to personal development, people, leaders of organizations. Now in vogue in the field of management, we can state that has its origins in the Socratic techniques that this philosopher used to instruct their students.
In Spain, compared with countries like USA where for over twenty years is used, has a relatively short time as an instrument aimed at developing people. Under the dual route is still coaching and innovation but I assure you can be as fruitful and rewarding enough to last another 2,000 years. Like Socrates!.
