Innovative ideas are the fruit of knowledge people have of an organization, the expertise, knowledge of the environment of networking .... Alfons Cornella speech, in his book "The Alchemy of Innovation", namely, knowledge hybridization as the source of the best innovations.
However, what is clear and transparent is that the origin, the source from which flows all, is in people. In many organizations are created groups generating ideas using sometimes creative techniques to encourage the emergence of breakthrough ideas.
Fine, but let's go a little further. If it is ultimately about getting the most out of a group, why not use the latest techniques?, Why not use a coach to allow the group to get the most of himself and become a manna of innovative ideas ?
Coaching is the art of questioning. ¿Ask for what? To take full potential of what each and every one of us have inside. It is a "philosophy" geared to personal development, people, leaders of organizations. Now in vogue in the field of management, it can be said to have originated in the Socratic techniques that this philosopher used to instruct their students.
In Spain, compared with other countries like USA where for over twenty years is used, has a relatively short time as an instrument aimed at developing people. Under the dual route is still coaching and innovation but I assure you can be as fruitful and rewarding to take another 2,000 years. Like Socrates!.
